Dear friend,
I have been lucky enough to have been a part of the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester and witness the summer program. I have been going to the Club for eight years. During that time, the summer program has allowed me to grow into the person I am today. We get to really bond with our peers and strengthen our bond. I participated in SMARTGirls and got to develop my character. I started off the summer shy, by the end I felt free. The summer program is really important because a lot of kids I know have nothing to do during this time so they get into drinking and smoking. I was able to stay out of trouble thanks to SMARTGirls and the dancing program. They taught me to love myself and not let anybody change that. Thank you to everyone who contributes to the summer program because you are saving lives.
