Hi,
My name is Isaiah and I’m 8 years old. I’m really excited it’s springtime because my favorite thing to do outside is ride my bike. But I didn’t always like it. I learned last year at the Club. Some really nice people from a big company gave us brand new shiny bikes and I remember everyone was so excited except me. I didn’t know how to ride a bike and I didn’t want the other kids making fun of me. My mommy used to tell me one day I would get a bike but right now food and a home were more important and we didn’t have enough for all 3. Everyone at the Club and the volunteers took me out to the track until I could learn on my own. I fell a lot but that’s ok because we have lots of band aids. Now I can ride all by myself and I’m not scared anymore. I think my mommy was the most excited I got a bike because she started crying! She said we we’re lucky to have so many nice people who like the Club and one day I have to work hard so one day I can give to a kid like me.
