Dear Families,
For the past 136 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester has remained committed to serving those who need us most. Our mission continues to guide everything we do — from providing high-quality programs and services to working tirelessly to eliminate barriers to participation, including keeping our fees as low as possible.
Like many nonprofits, we are currently facing significant economic challenges. As a result, and after much careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to implement a fee increase for the upcoming year.
This is the first time in 20 years that we have raised our rates. While we understand that any increase can be difficult, this step is necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability of our programs. Our goal is to avoid reductions in services, site closures, or shortened hours — all of which would directly impact the youth and families we serve. The following is the new membership fee structure to begin this fall:
- *Harrington Clubhouse (not the EEC-licensed SACC program): $50 per year for 8 – 12 years old (3rd – 6th grades). Parents/guardians have the option of paying the full $50 during registration or $25 in September and $25 in January.
- Harrington Clubhouse (Teen Program): $10 for youth in 7th – 12th grades
- Great Brook Valley site: Membership for all youth is $10
- Plumley Village site: Membership for all youth is $10
We remain committed to keeping our programs accessible. Our team is here to support you through this transition, and we encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Thank you for being a valued part of the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester family. Your continued support helps us fulfill our mission and create a safe, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

*Please note: The EEC-licensed School-Age Child Care (SACC) program at the Harrington Clubhouse will continue to follow state-regulated fees and will accept both childcare vouchers and private payments.
