Celebrating and honoring the extraordinary contributions and achievements of our Black leaders at the Club.

Shauree Allotey, our Director of Operations, also oversees programs and services at our largest site, the Harrington Clubhouse. Nearly 20 years ago, Shauree walked through our doors as the Club’s first-ever Dance Director—and she has been a leader ever since. Her creativity, dedication, inclusive leadership, and exceptional team-building skills continue to strengthen and inspire our entire organization.

Precious Ansah-Opoku has served as our Director of Individual and Family Services since 2019 and holds a Master of Social Work. Her deep empathy, trauma-informed approach, and ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships make her an invaluable asset to our community.

Josh Brown has been part of the Club family for 17 years and currently serves as Unit Director at our Great Brook Valley site. His expertise in gang prevention and his impactful work with teens are deeply valued. Josh is an integral member of the team supporting key initiatives at GBV, including efforts to provide licensed child care and to build a state-of-the-art Clubhouse that will allow us to serve even more youth and teens.

Tanaha Bailey, Director of our School Age Child Care Program, has worked at the Club for nearly five years and brings extensive experience in the Early Education and Care field. Her enthusiasm, joyful spirit, and unwavering commitment to families shine through in her work each and every day.

Tatyianna Zicherman, our Operations Manager since 2022, is a true standout when it comes to planning and logistics. She consistently supports the youth development team, oversees our front desk center and membership program and fully embodies the Club’s “whatever it takes” motto in everything she does. Her energy is boundless! Drawing on her background in design and special event planning, Tatyianna brings creativity and polish to our most exciting Club events—including our beloved Holiday parties—ensuring each one is thoughtfully executed and memorable for our kids and families.

Quincy Ikeachumba, our Athletics Program Director for over 3 years, has revitalized competitive basketball, restoring it to the prominence and pride of its storied Ionic Ave. past. He works to ensure there are abundant opportunities for fun, engaging non-competitive sports and games, making athletics accessible and enjoyable for youth of all ages and skill levels. Quincy is also a true pied piper at heart—naturally drawing kids in with his energy and enthusiasm. During open houses, he serves as the MC, warmly welcoming families to the Club and spinning music that keeps our kids smiling, engaged, and excited to be part of the experience.

Tiara Williams-Price’s journey with the Club began as a teen member, making her story a true reflection of our mission in action. After earning her degree in Elementary Education and Moderate Disabilities, in 2024 she returned to serve as our Education Program Director. In this role, Tiara leads dynamic programming in STEM, homework assistance, technology, reading literacy, and college preparation. She is also our go-to expert for leveraging surveys and data to evaluate and strengthen our education initiatives, ensuring our programs are both impactful and continuously improving.

George Burnett III is truly the “father figure” of our Club for both youth and staff. As Fitness Program Director for 3 years, he is deeply committed to the physical well-being of every child, helping them understand the importance of incorporating at least 60 minutes of physical activity into their daily lives.In addition, George leads our Passport to Manhood program, guiding boys as they develop essential life skills such as problem-solving, healthy decision-making, and conflict resolution—all within a safe, supportive, and culturally relevant environment.
