Bank of America Student Leader Completes Transformative Summer Internship at Boys & Girls Club of Worcester

This summer, the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester was proud to welcome Sanat, a Bank of America Student Leader, for a five-week internship that provided a comprehensive look at what it takes to operate a youth-serving nonprofit organization.

Throughout his internship, Sanat had the opportunity to experience nearly every aspect of the Club's work. He worked alongside staff in Human Resources, Family Services, Administration, and a variety of youth program areas, gaining firsthand insight into the collaboration required to support thousands of local children and teens each year.

From helping prepare and serve lunch to members each day to observing case management, participating in program activities, and learning about nonprofit operations behind the scenes, Sanat experienced the many moving pieces that come together to create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for young people.

The Bank of America Student Leaders program connects talented college students with nonprofit organizations where they can develop leadership skills, explore career pathways, and make a meaningful impact in their communities. During his time at the Club, Sanat embraced every opportunity to learn, ask questions, and build relationships with staff and members.

Reflecting on his experience, Sanat shared: "At the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, I spent so much time learning new things and meeting new people. This experience has been transformative and I am so glad I got to experience working here."

We are grateful to Bank of America for making this incredible opportunity possible and for investing in the next generation of leaders. It was a pleasure having Sanat as part of the Boys & Girls Club family this summer, and we look forward to seeing all he accomplishes in the future.
