It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of one of our Club alumni, Douglas "Doug" Paul Safford. In his youth, Doug attended the Boys Club where he frequented the Lincoln Square and the Ionic Ave. Clubhouses. His passion for sports shone brightly as he excelled in basketball and football, leaving a lasting legacy at Holy Name Central Catholic High School and Nichol's College.
We are deeply touched by the decision of Doug's beloved family to designate the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester as the beneficiary for memorial donations in his honor. This gesture speaks volumes about the impact Doug had on those around him and the lasting impression he made within our community.
