One of our Bank of America Student Leaders, Shubhan, recently led a hands-on 3D printing workshop for some of our younger members—and they were hooked from the start!
"I love 3D printing and engineering... so I ran a 3D printing workshop to teach the kids and staff how to use the printers, including the different parts, how it works as a whole, what programs to use, how to design things to print, and safety tips. It was extremely eye-opening to see that the kids were so enticed in something they had never used before."
Our members learned how to bring their ideas to life—using kid-friendly design tools like TinkerCAD, exploring how 3D printers work, and even printing their own creations. One young participant designed an object from scratch and watched it come to life!
