Be a Summer Hero 2026

All summer heroes who make a gift before June 1 will also be a sponsor of our 137th annual meeting, Today's Heroes, Tomorrow's Leaders being held on Wednesday, June 10!

$3,000- $13,000 | Sponsor a Field Trip

Field trips are great way to expose members to exciting experiences, introduce them to new places, and foster a sense of curiosity and exploration. They are also one of the costliest aspects of our summer program. Sponsoring one of our field trips will make a huge difference for our youth this summer. For many of our youth, this is their only opportunity to venture outside of Worcester. Field trips include:

$13,000- Six Flags New England
$7,500- Survivor Week at Camp Laurel Wood
$6,000- Mystic Aquarium
$5,000- Museum of Science, Boston
$4,500- Southwick Zoo
$4,500- Roller Kingdom
$3,000- Trout Brook

$7,500 | Expand Access to Swim Safety

Provides life-saving swim instruction for 150 youth this summer, helping ensure every child has the skills and confidence to stay safe in and around water. Drowning is one of the leading causes of death for children in the United States—making swim education not just enriching, but essential.

$3,500 | Sponsor a Summer Teen Job

Supports eight weeks of employment for one teen, including training, mentoring, and 20+ hours of work per week. These opportunities help teens build skills, earn income, and stay engaged during critical out-of-school time.

$1,500 | Sponsor Meals for 100 Youth

Provides one week of lunches through Kid’s Café. With 1 in 4 children in Worcester facing food insecurity, this support ensures youth are nourished and ready to learn and play.

$500 | Sponsor a Themed Summer Week

Themed weeks transform summer into meaningful learning experiences by blending fun with skill-building. Youth develop social connections, explore new ideas, and gain confidence in a supportive environment. Brings programming to life through engaging themed experiences such as:
Disney Week
Community Heroes Week
Friendship & Kindness Week
Great Futures Week
“We Got Talent” Week
America’s 250th Birthday Celebration

$350 | Sponsor a Campership

Covers the true weekly cost of one child’s summer experience, including swim instruction, athletics, arts, and outdoor activities. While families pay just $40/week, the actual cost is $350—your support bridges that gap.

$100 | Sponsor 2 Club Memberships or 10 Teen Memberships

Provides two youth with year-round access to programs including athletics, arts, academic support, job readiness, and Kid’s Café.
Provides 10 teen memberships, ensuring teens have access to a safe space, workforce readiness programs, and leadership opportunities.
