Help Support Summer Youth Jobs

Everyone remembers their first job: the excitement, the responsibility, and of course, the paycheck. But it’s more than that. The independence a job can provide a youth is invaluable. The skill set one acquires can lay the groundwork for future success. Our Club kids are underprivileged, and to them, a summer job can open doors. It can act as the first step to creating a resume that will get them a career one day. It can help provide for their family, as many of our members contribute to their household finances. It can teach dedication and responsibility, and the knowledge that hard work will bring them to where they want to go. It can provide hope. Several Worcester teens attended a rally in Boston, advocating for youth jobs. But we need help from the community as well. If you want to help, please consider supporting a child for the summer.
