G.A.N.G. Camp Encourages Positive Changes in Worcester

We are proud to be part of a program that is so invaluable to our society. The future of our community belongs to our youth, and it is our responsibility to provide opportunities for our kids to grow into contributing members of society. G.A.N.G. camp, our collaboration with the Worcester Police Department, is a chance for our program staff to redirect our hard-to-reach youth into constructive recreational activities in an effort to steer them away from their negative surroundings. As a result, the gap between youth and law enforcement decreases, and a level of comfort is created that encourages our young people to make positives connections with the police and other adults. As Sgt. Stephen Roche says, “This opens dialogue.” Please read the attached article from the Telegram & Gazette for more insight into G.A.N.G. camp and our collaboration with the Worcester Police Department and the City of Worcester.
