Several years ago we promised our kids that we would build a Clubhouse just for them. In fall 2006, thanks to an outpouring of community support, our promise was fulfilled when the doors to a new state-of-the-art facility opened in the Main South neighborhood.
Our work is not done, however. As a community we need to insure that we have programs kids can count on, a staff that cares about them and a well-maintained facility that will provide the services and educational and recreational programs our children deserve.
It’s now about building capacity,
strengthening our organization,
and in turn, strengthening our children.
Our need for more staff members, equipment, and programming increases as our membership continues to grow. Since 2001, the number of kids we serve in Worcester has nearly tripled! In our Main South Clubhouse alone we have over 1000 new Club members. Our new facility can easily handle the growth, but it now requires the staffing and infrastructure to allow us to provide services to even more children.
Please help us keep our promise.
